Welcome to Amsterdam, looking for a place where you can play rugby and live the student life, look no further than Ascrum.
At A.S.R.V. Ascrum, we play rugby at different levels, so there is always a team that’s best suited for you. Our first team competes in the Eerste Klasse (2nd tier of Dutch rugby) for those who have that competitive streak and want to play high standard rugby, while we also have two teams that play at lower levels perfect for people who are just learning the game or prefer a more social setting for their rugby playing.
For our first-year players, we organise a six week rugby clinic in September and October. This year the clinic will start on Thursday 4 September. The goal of the clinic is to give all participants a fun and safe introduction to rugby, as well as forging a team atmosphere with your fellow ‘young dogs’.
Our sister association Medusa also run a clinic during the same time starting September 3, who we will join for some 2 joint trainings throughout the clinic. Both of these clinics can be signed up for in the form below.
Throughout the season we train on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 19:30 to 22:00, we always welcome new players.
Our address is Bok de Korverweg 6A, 1067 HR Amsterdam. We are located at Sportpark de Eendracht. Our location can be reached via public transport (bus 21 or tram 13), but we advise to come by bike.
