We zijn enorm trots om Michael Maytham en Kas Eelman voor te stellen als de nieuwe Director of Rugby en Assistent-coach van de A.S.R.V. Ascrum. Beide heren brengen een bak aan ervaring mee van het hoogste niveau.

Michael neemt de Zuid-Afrikaanse mentaliteit mee die hij opbouwde tijdens zijn tijd bij de Stormers en het University of Cape Town Rugby Club. Kas brengt de technische finesse die hij ontwikkelde bij Exeter en Bath.

"I don't think I have ever been this excited for a rugby challenge, as I am to coach Ascrum next season. A lot of my friends back home have played for and coached Ascrum in the past. There is such a positive vibe in this club, and coming from the University of Cape Town Rugby Club, I understand what student rugby means, and why it matters."

"Last season I was looking for a way to get involved with rugby again, and I found my way to Tuesday night trainings at Ascrum. This season, I'm excited to formalise my coaching involvement with the vereniging and help continue developing the squad. The culture around student rugby is something I know well from my time studying in the UK. The promotion to the Ereklasse is a challenge I very much look forward to."

We are incredibly proud to introduce Michael Maytham and Kas Eelman as the new Director of Rugby and Assistant Coach of the A.S.R.V. Ascrum. Both gentlemen bring a wealth of experience from the highest levels of the game.

Michael brings the South African mentality he built during his time at the Stormers and the University of Cape Town Rugby Club. Kas brings the technical finesse he developed at Exeter and Bath.
